Our Commitment

Roadside help has to work for everyone, in stressful conditions, on any device. TrueNorth aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across our public site, customer request flow, tracking pages and staff portals, and we design for compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Measures We Take

  • Semantic headings, landmarks and a skip-to-content link on every page.
  • Full keyboard operation, visible focus indicators and logical tab order.
  • Text contrast that meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body copy.
  • Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels on mobile.
  • Form labels, inline error messages and clear recovery instructions.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images and accessible names for icon-only buttons.
  • Support for browser text scaling and reduced-motion preferences.
  • Live regions that announce status changes on the tracking page.

Known Limitations

  • The live map is inherently visual. Every map screen also lists the address, status and ETA in text, and you can call dispatch for a spoken update.
  • Some third-party map tiles and routing overlays are outside our direct control.
  • PDF invoices generated by third-party payment tools may not be fully tagged.

Assistive Technology Compatibility

We test with VoiceOver on iOS and macOS, TalkBack on Android, NVDA on Windows, keyboard-only navigation and browser zoom up to 200 percent in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
