Overview
What this policy covers and who it applies to.
TrueNorth Roadside Rescue (TrueNorth, we, us) provides emergency roadside rescue, towing, roadside assistance, scheduled transport and commercial fleet services. This policy applies to customers who request service, people who track a service request with a P.O.# tracking code, drivers and dispatchers who use the staff portal, and visitors to our public pages.

Location Data
Why precise location matters and how you control it.
Roadside rescue depends on finding you quickly and safely. When you allow location access, your browser shares your device's precise coordinates with TrueNorth so dispatch can route the closest suitable unit and so your driver can see exactly where you are.
- Location is captured only when you request service or when your job is active.
- We do not track your device in the background, and we do not build a movement history of you.
- Driver location is shared with you on the live tracking page only while your job is active.
- You can decline location access and type an address instead — the request may take longer to dispatch.
- Precise coordinates attached to a completed job are retained with the job record and are removed on the schedule in the retention table below.
Vehicle Photos
Photos are always optional. They help the driver arrive with the correct equipment and document vehicle condition before and after transport.
- Photos are compressed in your browser before upload to reduce data use and stored space.
- They are visible to the assigned driver, dispatchers and administrators — never to other customers.
- Photos are automatically deleted 30 days after a job is completed unless they are attached to an open damage claim, dispute or legal matter.
- Please avoid capturing bystanders, identification documents or other people's licence plates.
